Teatime with Mrs. Joho: Celestial Seasonings Chamomile Tea
As I continue my tea drinking journey, I want to discuss my second favorite, go-to tea, Celestial Seasonings Chamomile Tea. My husband and I usually drink this at night before bed to help us calm down and it really does help. However, aiding with sleep and stress isn't the only benefits you can gain from drinking this tea.
See, chamomile is a flower that is dried in order to create tea and other products. It is packed with antioxidants and antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Because of this, some of the other benefits in chamomile tea are aiding with digestion, helping to lower blood pressure and bad cholesterol, and being an antihistamine. That's right, if you suffer from those pesky seasonal allergies, you can drink some chamomile tea and it could help.
I love the earthy taste of this tea. It's not burnt, bitter, or sweet. It honestly tastes like you're eating a flower, if you've ever eaten a flower before. It's so good! Also, it's another tea that when it gets cold doesn't taste horrible at all.
In the end, I highly recommend this tea because of it's great taste and amazing benefits. Not only will it help you sleep and lower your stress levels, but it can help with a plethora of other health problems. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
